  • MCQ: +3 for right, −1 for wrong, 0 if left blank.
  • TITA (type in the answer): +3 for right and no negative marking.
  • Auto switch: a closed section can't be reopened and the next can't start early.

Why these mocks

Practice that behaves like the real thing.

  • The real screen

Section tabs, question palette, mark for review, an on-screen number pad for type-in answers and a countdown, the layout you'll see on exam day.

  • Sections that switch by themselves

40 minutes each for VARC, DILR and QA. When time is up the next section opens and the last one closes for good, like the real CAT.

  • A fair clock

Time is kept on our server. Refreshing or closing the tab doesn't buy you extra minutes.

  • Why you lost marks

Every miss is sorted: careless, concept gap, too slow, or never reached, so you fix the right thing.

  • Section and topic results

See which sections and topics cost you, and how your time compared to an even pace.

  • A PDF to keep

A detailed report with all 68 worked solutions, with the traps in the wrong options explained.

The analysis

Not just a score. A list of what to fix.

A mock is only worth the time you spend learning from it. Every attempt ends with a breakdown built to show exactly where your marks went, by section.

  • Score out of 204, accuracy and attempt rate
  • VARC, DILR and QA results, and topic by topic
  • What went wrong: careless, concept gap, time lost, never reached
  • Time on every question against an even pace
  • A worked solution for all 68 questions
  • A detailed PDF, stamped with your name

Questions

Before you buy

The honest answers, in plain words.

All questions
Is the pattern the same as the real CAT?

Yes. 68 questions and 204 marks in 120 minutes, as three sections of 40 minutes taken in order: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (24), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (22) and Quantitative Aptitude (22). Questions are a mix of MCQs and type-in-the-answer (TITA) questions, marked +3 for right, −1 for a wrong MCQ, and no negative marking on TITA.

What happens when a section's time is up?

Just like the real exam, the section closes by itself and the next one opens. You can't go back to a section that has closed and you can't start the next one early, so the 40 minutes in each section are yours to plan.

How do type-in answers work?

You click the answer box and type a number or a sequence (like 36 or 2413), or use the on-screen number pad, then Save & Next. A wrong typed answer costs nothing.

What do I get after the mock?

Straight away: your score out of 204, accuracy, section-wise and topic-wise results, a breakdown of what went wrong (careless, concept gap, time lost, never reached), time per question, and a worked solution for all 68 questions with the traps in the wrong options explained. A detailed PDF too.

How many mocks are there?

Fifteen full-length CAT mocks. They open one after another, and your credits work on any live mock. The page shows what's live and what opens next.

What are the bundles?

The SNAP + CAT bundle is 25 mocks for one price: 10 SNAP and 15 CAT. The SNAP + CAT + XAT pack is 40 mocks: add 15 XAT mocks. There are also SNAP + XAT and CAT + XAT bundles. SNAP, CAT and XAT credits stay separate, so one exam's credit can't be spent on another's mock.

What about XAT?

XAT mocks (the Xavier Aptitude Test, with its Decision Making section) are live: 15 mocks at the same price as the CAT pack, 95 questions in 3 hours. See the XAT page, or take the SNAP + CAT + XAT pack for all three exams.

How hard are the papers?

Each paper is rated on its first page (the first one is Moderate) with a realistic spread of easy, moderate and hard questions. The answer key shows the level of every question.

Are the questions original?

Yes. Every paper is written by The Converts Club in the CAT pattern. They're practice papers, not leaked or copied papers, and not a prediction of the real exam.

Can I retake a mock?

Each mock can be taken once, in one sitting, like the real exam. Your solutions and analysis stay in your account to revisit.

Will I get a percentile?

Only when enough students have taken that mock for it to mean something. Until then you see your score and where you lost marks, not a made-up percentile.

Can I get a refund?

If you haven't started any mock, you can ask for a refund within 48 hours of buying. Once a mock is started its credit is used.

CAT is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management. The Converts Club is an independent practice provider and is not affiliated with the IIMs. These are practice papers: marks and percentiles are for practice and do not predict the real result. Also sitting SNAP? See the SNAP mocks. Refund policy.
